Hello! I’m Kathy Medina and I’m super excited to help build future leaders here at TPAA! I’ve worked in the educational setting for the last seven years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I understand the importance of building foundational academics and social/emotional skills. I proudly earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from CSUN, followed by earning my master’s degree of Science in Educational Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services with a concentration in School and Family Based Counseling from the University of La Verne. Helping others, especially students has always been a passion for me. I strive to ensure students are successful in any aspect of their lives. As a school counselor and advocate, I will provide support to our students in their academics, careers, and personal/social lives. I believe it is important to provide support in all areas to assist our students in becoming productive and resilient students in school and our communities. Outside of my passion for counseling, I enjoy drawing, traveling, watching sports, and living a simple life alongside my husband and dog.

I look forward to collaborating with you and helping as many students as I can!
