Programs and Activities
Elementary School
Robotics
Introducing STEAM early is at the heart of what the Academy is all about. As such, we are implementing the LEGO First League and VEX Robotics in a way that ensures coding and robotics feel familiar to our students as they transition to middle and high school. To further prepare students for a future at the Academy, we are implementing an elementary robotics team to compete with other schools.
English Learner
The Academy is committed to providing high-quality English Language Development (ELD) instruction to support multilingual learners in achieving academic success and full English proficiency. Our ELD program is designed to meet the diverse linguistic needs of students through research-based instructional strategies, targeted support, and meaningful community engagement.
PBIS
A hallmark of the Academy is a clean, safe environment and positive interactions among students and staff. These things significantly contribute to effective learning and overall well-being. We implement PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) with fidelity, resulting in measurable positive impacts on student behavior and school climate.
Student Clubs
The Academy encourages involvement from our Junior Griffins with our after-school clubs, including Lego Robotics, Running Club, Crochet Club, and Creative Thinking Club. These groups provide enriched learning experiences that extend beyond the traditional school day, promoting academic, social, and personal growth. Designed to boost student engagement, these activities also improve academic performance and support overall development.
