Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO)
Who is the PTSO?
We are a group that supports and enhances the educational experiences of The Academy’s students by providing an organization through which the parents, teachers, and school sites can work cooperatively and provide financial support for programs funded outside the annual school budget. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to building community inside and outside The Academy family.
What does the PTSO do?
- We raise funds. We hold fundraisers including selling concession snacks, holiday grams, book fairs, and many others. Our biggest fundraiser is our annual 4th of July TNT Fireworks Booth!
- We volunteer. We appreciate all the help we can get, even if it’s help from home or just a few hours. You must be cleared to volunteer by The Academy. Please be sure to pick up your Volunteer Packet in the Administration Office.
- We make connections. Being involved helps you stay connected with the school and allows you to gain a broader perspective of how you can play a supportive role in your child’s education and school. You also make connections with other parents who share a common goal of student achievement.

Volunteer
We need all the help we can get at our PTSO events, concession sales at our school dances and more.
